THE CLIENT
Baldwin Tobacco is a small tobacco shop located in Baldwin Park, CA. They have good selection of products at good prices. There is hookah sets with all the accessories and various brands and flavors. E-Cigs and Vaporizers have been a growing trend and they have a good selection of pens and flavors. In addition, they also carry your classic tobacco in the form of cigars, cigarettes, and pipe tobacco.
THE CHALLENGE
Before anything, we needed to establish a brand for the store. It did not have a logo or even a unique look that the store identifies with. It needed to be new, modern, and trendy look in order to attract more clientele. As for the site, we needed to identify and present the key products of the store. We also needed to market the brands that customers would identify right away. The website only really needed to have some information about the shop, location, and contact information.
THE SOLUTION
For the logo we came with a simple but modern and trendy look. The colors we came up with were to start with black as a base to make everything sleek. The color green was the client’s choice. The font was chosen to reflect a sleek design.
As for the website, we wanted to keep it consistent with the logo, using black as a base. The images of the store, the shelves and the brands really speak for themselves. It is a simple one-pager website where visitors can scroll through all the information regarding the store. The website does not have a shop aspect to it, so its more for people to get information on what the store sells so they can stop by and purchase the item.
